What data we collect

When a scratch.mit.edu project is loaded, the project ID and non-identifiable diagnostic information (such as cache hit/cache miss/errors) may be recorded for up to 24 hours for caching.

When a scratch.mit.edu project that contains cloud variables is loaded, your username (chosen by user or randomly generated each visit) and the project ID may be logged for up to 14 days to help prevent abuse.

• The site may contact the Scratch API to download projects
